Hydrogen Gas can be utilised to generate electricity, power, and heat in fuel cells. The most prevalent applications for hydrogen today are petroleum refining and fertilizer manufacture, with transportation and utilities as new areas. This is a clean energy source with applications in the food industry, petrochemical refineries, cutting/welding, metallurgy, and other fields. Hydrogen gas is commercially produced using water electrolysis, natural gas reforming, and coal gasification. A device that is resistant to air may not be resistant to hydrogen.
